Game Days
Game Days are bi-monthly releases of cutscene content for players to view in order to progress through the game. My role consisted of reviewing scripts, reviewing the game area for use for the cutscenes, writing up bug tickets for Tech Art and creating the final cutscenes using Unity. I was also often tasked with placing characters around the map to tell stories without direct cutscenes, instead highlighting friendships between characters. Lastly, we would routinely review other content designer's work and provide clear and actionable feedback
Events
Events usually take place within the game over a longer period of time and often have a specific theme or goal for the player to engage with. I have worked on several events of varying scales and durations, having been solely responsible for its cutscene creation. Moreover, my role required me to review the in-game areas during the sketch stage to make sure that the footprint of the event matched the area that would be used. I also needed to consistently communicate with narrative and tech art to make sure the event would be cohesive and run smoothly.
